FAQ

Good questions.

Everything about the bottle, storing it, and getting it to your door.

The egg whites

  • What is 3abayad?

Liquid egg whites from Lebanon: pasteurized, bottled in a 1L glass bottle, locally sourced. Just egg whites, ready to pour.

  • Are liquid egg whites real eggs?

Yes. They’re the whites of real local eggs, separated, pasteurized and bottled: about 30 whites in every 1L bottle. Use them like whites you’d separate yourself, in omelettes, baking and shakes.

  • Is it safe to drink raw?

Yes, it’s safe raw. Every bottle is gently pasteurized, so it goes straight into shakes, smoothies, toum and homemade mayo.

  • How many eggs are in one bottle?

About 30 egg whites in every 1L bottle — that’s 110g of protein (11g per 100g). No cracking, no separating, no shells in your pan.

  • How much protein is in it?

11g of protein per 100g, with 0g carbs and 0g fat, so 110g of protein in a bottle. A 150g pour (about 5 whites) gives you 16.5g.

  • I spotted a tiny red speck. Is that normal?

Totally. Small natural spots occasionally occur in eggs. They’re harmless and part of a real, minimally processed product.

  • Why a glass bottle?

Glass keeps the taste clean: no plastic taste and nothing leaching in.

Storage

  • How do I store it?

Keep it in the fridge below 4°C, and use it within 7 days of opening.

  • Can I freeze it?

We don’t recommend it — freezing changes the texture. If you must, pour it into a freezer-safe container (never the glass bottle) and thaw it in the fridge.

Ordering, delivery and payment

  • How much does it cost?

$12 for one bottle, or $10 a bottle when you take 2 or more. The lower price applies automatically; there’s nothing to enter.

  • How much is delivery?

A flat $4 per order, whatever you order.
